Geòtics was born in 2000, when three friends decided to create an enterprise related with renewable energies and energetic efficiency. Since then, Geotics has focused its activities in the energy consumed by buildings.
Long ago, humanity didn’t need so much energy as it is needed nowadays, even though if their buildings were more sustainable than ours. Romans used to use thermal baths which, later, would be transformed in noucentist spas. Nowadays, everybody can reproduce one in its place which an increase of the energy consumes. Earth is an infinite heat accumulator and we can use its temperature to warm or to cold. Our philosophy is coming back to the past using modern technology.
It’s for this reason that the first logo of Geòtics Innova belong to Ginkgo Bilova, a unique tree. Ginkgo is a sacred tree from the Orient which is seen as a symbol of love and hope. Besides, it has curatives effects in human body. This kind of tree (duck’s feed, as it is known in China) has antioxidant properties so it’s also used as an anti stress product which offers physical and mental energy.
